responding to student writing:

When it comes to responding to anything that students write, specifically young students, its important to be encouraging even while critiquing the work. The mistakes that the students have made should be categorized. Some errors are should be brought to attention to the student, while others can wait. I think its okay if the student uses the word 'because' or uses contractions in their writing depending on the grade level.

Cheating

Cheating is dirtyyyyy and it's dumb. A person does not learn anything from creating. yeah, you got an A on the test, but you're still a retard. Test and papers are for our own good. If a person believes that he or she must cheat, they should not be in the class. I do understand that sometimes students get in a crunch and they do not have enough time study. Most teachers will understand and give an extra day. Teachers want students to learn and do their honest best. A person might get a degree from a university by cheating but they will not succeed at their job. He or she will just be left jobless with thousands of dollars in dept because of tuition fees. Cheating can only bring temporary success. Honestly pasting a test feels so much better than getting a good grade on a test. Eventually everybody learns that cheating does not do them any good.

What kind of teacher do I want to be?

I want to be the teacher that every student wants to have. I want to make learning and the whole classroom experience fun. I want the students to be excited about learning because I make it understandable to them and interesting. I want to be inventive and creative in the classroom. I do not want to be the teacher that demands silence in the classroom all the time. I want to challenge my students and expand their horizons. I want to take my students on lots of field trips and do fun education projects with them. I want the students to also be able to learn about what ever the want to learn besides just the required curriculum. I want to help all my students exceed all expectations. I want to care and love every child as if they were my own. I want to have a relationship with the parents and make sure that they know that I'm doing my best for their child. I want to be the teacher that never sitting behind a desk. I want to be the teacher that works on the students social skills in the classroom. I do not want anyone to ever feel left out. I want to show my students videos of the Magic School Bus, Wish Bone, and Bill Nye the science guy.

Where I am from

To be honest, and I know that theis is sad, but I had a hard time fillling out this form. I cant write the first thing that pops into my head because it is never on topic and is completely random. I was drawing a blank. I like what i wrote in the end but it seem so watered dowm. It hard to get a single perspective on where i am from. I put a little bit of everything in there but now it just looks puzzleing. I am from very contradictory places and I can only put one answer. Which one am I more from?

I really like this picture. I want to be there. I can tell that it is cold outside, which I think is one of the perfect times to go to the beach. I like walking on the cold sand. The water looks so blue. I would love to fall asleep on the sand. It looks like there is a high class hotel close by. It looks beautiful. I want to go there, unfortunatly its going to be awhile. College students do not get to take vactions on account that we do not have any money nor do we have any time. It looks so relaxing there. I almost want to just stop looking at it because its only just a reminder of how far away I am from it. I bet the sun is warm there but the air is still chilly; its perfect for a cat nap. I like the contrast in colors between the dark black sea wall, the white splashes of water and dark clam blue ocean. I love how clear the sky is. I bet the air is crisp and clean.

Affirmation

Affirmation: It is safe for me to risk rejection. I respect myself; therefore I can never be truly rejected.
I liked having people cheer for me and it was fun cheering for others. I do have to admit that I felt really silly doing but i guess that just means that I did it right. Its fun to be silly and hoot and holler for no reason. I couldn't help but to smile. I like doing things like this but it is usually with my close friends. Doing it with a class of women that I didn't know very well made it all the more exciting. It felt more like a celebration. Affirmation can be easily forgotten to be given. It so simple and easy. It doesn't take much time and it makes people feel good, so, why don't we do this more? everyday?

This weekend went by fast. I would like to request an extra day to be added to the weekend. Time should be sold a Sams. If was sold there, I would totally by it in bulk. I would use it for sleep and getting school work done. Yes, I like the sound of that.
